Hi guys, it’s Stephen here again, and it feels so good to be able to
put that. Currently I am feeling well and would describe my current
situation as stable. Different people will put my recent physical
improvement down to different reasons; I don’t want to over dramatise
things too much, but I do just want to mention that everyone’s positive
thoughts and support has been hugely appreciated, so thank you for that.
The tumours in my body are still rife and dangerous, but I feel so
lucky to just still be here, and in fact I feel completely privileged to
be in this position where I can help make such a difference to others
people lives.
The main thing I’ve always felt passionately about is helping
others. My original goal was to raise £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust,
but now with everyone’s help the current fundraising total stands at
over 2.3million pounds raised- and it’s still going up!! I’ve always
been a firm believer that people are ‘good’, and to see people come
together for the cause recently in the way they have is incredibly
touching and heartwarming. Thank you from me, and also thank you from
every young cancer patient in the future who will benefit invaluably
from the money raised!
Alongside fundraising I’ve always tried to help people in lots of
other ways too. For example, I once did an event involving young people
giving out free high fives, fist bumps, hugs, ‘sup nods and handshakes
to strangers in the street. Not a penny was raised, but it importantly
challenged people to think differently about things and hopefully
brightened up their days a bit. I always describe my cancer as a huge
kick up the backside that taught me a lot of good: the importance of
helping others, of making every second count, of making sure life is for
LIVING, amongst other things.
Last month I teamed up with Make A Wish Foundation to make a short
documentary about my life and the things I have been doing recently. My
wish was to share my story and positivity with as many people as
possible.
The film was scheduled to be released this Tuesday, but with the
current momentum of things I feel now is a great time to share it with
you all! There have been a few minor tweaks to help keep things current,
but here it is- I hope you all enjoy it!!

Former World Wrestling Entertainment star Rey Mysterio Jr could face manslaughter charges stemming from the in-ring death of fellow wrestler Perro Aguayo Jr

Former World Wrestling Entertainment star Rey Mysterio Jr could face manslaughter charges stemming from the in-ring death of fellow wrestler Pedro Aguayo Ramirez.
The lucha libre wrestler, who wrestled under the name Perro Aguayo Jr, died on Saturday, March 21 aftertaking a dropkick to the side of the neckwhile tag teaming with Manik against Mysterio Jr and Xtreme Tiger at the Municipal Auditorium in Tijuana, Mexico.
Several videos of the incident have emerged of the incident showing Mysterio hitting the dropkick to set the 35-year-old Aguayo up for his finishing maneuver, the 619. Aguayo landed with his neck on the second rope and remained slumped there until after the match.
Former World Championship Wrestling star Konnan went over to check on him, as did Mysterio, breaking character as his opponent to inform the referee of his opponent’s plight. The match continued for two minutes as a 2-on-1 before Aguayo was stretchered out.
TheAssociated Pressreports that the Baja California state prosecutor’s office has ruled the cause of death to be trauma to the neck and a cervical fracture, and has opened an investigation into a possible manslaughter charge.
Mysterio, whose real name is Oscar Gutierrez, tweeted his condolences to Aguayo in Spanish.
“We formed our friendship of brothers only a few years back and we should not question God's plan,” writes Mysterio.
“But on this occasion, I'm asking why and I don't understand. I miss you and will take you with me for the rest of my life, rest in peace Hijo del Perro.”
The show was promoted by The Crash but Aguayo had wrestled for the Mexico based Asistencia AsesorÃa y Administración. He began wrestling at age 15 and was also known as El Hijo del Perro Aguayo, a reference to his father, Mexican wrestling legend Perro Aguayo.
AP also reports that the ringside doctor was not on the scene because he was helping another injured performer, but paramedics and a doctor in the audience attended.
LONGMONT, CO- A 34-year-old Colorado woman is accused of stabbing a pregnant woman, and then attempting to remove the victim's baby.
That baby did not make it, and officials say the pregnant woman was taken to Longmont United Hospital, where she underwent surgery and is expected to recover.
According to Fox 31 Denver, the woman was seven month's pregnant, and was stabbed when she answered a Craigslist ad for baby clothes.
Longmont police responded to a reported around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, and told Fox 31, "Officers arrived on scene and could hear a female calling for help inside the home. Officers entered the home and located a female who had been beaten and stabbed in the stomach," adding "It was later learned, the female was pregnant and her baby had been removed. The victim was transported to the Longmont United Hospital where she underwent surgery and is expected to recover."
Police say the suspect, 34-year-old Dynel Lane, then went to the hospital with the baby and claimed it was a miscarriage. They told Fox 31 that Lane's husband drove her and they baby to the hospital. The husband is not under arrest.
Lane was arrested and charged with several felonies including attempted murder, assault, and child abuse resulting in death.
