A genius in America has made something called a Shooter Sandwich. Trust me when I say you are going to want this
Here is what you’re going to need…a loaf of hard crusted Italian bread, 3 ribeye steaks 1 lb mushrooms, an onion and some bacon, cheese and sauces of your choice
Hollow out the bread
Cook all the good stuff
Put half of the steak in first
Add sauce to the steak
Add a layer of bacon
Add a layer of cheese
Then stuff in as much mushroom and onion as you possibly can
Then add the rest of the steak and juices
A little more sauce…
Then top it off with some cheese
Put the top of the loaf back on
Wrap in butchers paper
Wrap in foil
Put a heavy chopping board over it to squash it down
Every once in a while an invention comes along that is truly
incredible. An invention that can have a wonderful impact on developing
countries and work towards putting an end to unnecessary deaths. This
invention is called the Drinkable Book: The revolutionary Drinkable Book, created by Dr. Theresa Dankovich,
is a project that will have great impact in the developing world. Important highlights about the book:
costs only cents to make
each filter can sustain a person for 30 days
each book contains enough filters to sustain a person for 4 years
bacteria count reduced by 99%, making previously contaminated water of equivalent quality to U.S. tap water
filters and kills waterborne diseases like cholera, typhoid and E. coli.
This is a truly incredible invention that needs the attention of the world. When inventions like this come about, the more they are shared and viewed, the more buzz is created around them and the more likely it is for them to come in to fruition. I
was quite late in hearing about Stephen’s Story. If you haven’t yet
heard his story, Stephen has been battling cancer for the last three
years. Instead of taking it lying down, ever since diagnosis day,
Stephen has made an incredible effort to raise money from his illness,
motivate others and leave a legacy that will be admired by millions. His
incredible fundraising efforts has led to over £2.8 million being
donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, please donate via this link

Stephen is still alive and fighting as this is written and recently
released this incredible short documentary along with this beautiful
message:
Hi guys, it’s Stephen here again, and it feels so good to be able to
put that. Currently I am feeling well and would describe my current
situation as stable. Different people will put my recent physical
improvement down to different reasons; I don’t want to over dramatise
things too much, but I do just want to mention that everyone’s positive
thoughts and support has been hugely appreciated, so thank you for that.
The tumours in my body are still rife and dangerous, but I feel so
lucky to just still be here, and in fact I feel completely privileged to
be in this position where I can help make such a difference to others
people lives.
The main thing I’ve always felt passionately about is helping
others. My original goal was to raise £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust,
but now with everyone’s help the current fundraising total stands at
over 2.3million pounds raised- and it’s still going up!! I’ve always
been a firm believer that people are ‘good’, and to see people come
together for the cause recently in the way they have is incredibly
touching and heartwarming. Thank you from me, and also thank you from
every young cancer patient in the future who will benefit invaluably
from the money raised!
Alongside fundraising I’ve always tried to help people in lots of
other ways too. For example, I once did an event involving young people
giving out free high fives, fist bumps, hugs, ‘sup nods and handshakes
to strangers in the street. Not a penny was raised, but it importantly
challenged people to think differently about things and hopefully
brightened up their days a bit. I always describe my cancer as a huge
kick up the backside that taught me a lot of good: the importance of
helping others, of making every second count, of making sure life is for
LIVING, amongst other things.
Last month I teamed up with Make A Wish Foundation to make a short
documentary about my life and the things I have been doing recently. My
wish was to share my story and positivity with as many people as
possible.
The film was scheduled to be released this Tuesday, but with the
current momentum of things I feel now is a great time to share it with
you all! There have been a few minor tweaks to help keep things current,
but here it is- I hope you all enjoy it!!
The last few days have showed me truly how amazing people and the
world can be. Feel free to help out once more by sharing the video link
and sharing the positivity- thank you!!
Chen Xiaotian was only 7 when he was
diagnosed with the brain tumor that would kill him. If that wasn’t
enough bad news for his family, his mother Zhou Lu was diagnosed with
kidney disease. They both would need to struggle just to live a shadow
of the life everyone else has.
So, Chen made a brave decision as he got worse. He asked his mother just to let him die… so that she may live.
Chen Xiaotian was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor just months before his own mother discovered she had kidney disease.
For years they both battled their conditions. Eventually, Chen was blinded and basically paralyzed as a result of his tumor.
Doctors knew he would die soon. They
also knew he would be a match for his mother, who needed a kidney. Zhou
Lou, however, refused to take it.Chen overheard her refusal and went to her, urging his mother to take the kidney.
He wanted to save her life.
She finally agreed, knowing a piece of her son would live on in her.
He passed away on April 2nd and the kidney was given to his mother.
Before that, doctors were unsure if Zhou could ever live a normal life.
Before the surgery to remove the kidney,
the doctors had a moment of silence in the operating room. There wasn’t
a dry eye as they said goodbye to heroic Chen, who was about to save
the life of his mother and two other recipients of his organs.
Chen’s sacrifice and bravery are incredible, please share his story.
This is a really eye opening video that takes a scientific look in
to what spending time on social networks does to your brain.
Essentially, it solidified things that were already knew or were already
thinking. I think this is an extremely relevant video and there will be
people out there who need to see it in order to get their own life in
order
