IMAGES: Imagine Living In A Boeing 727. This Guy Actually Does And It Looks Unbelievable

Bruce Campbell is an inventive engineer who bought a retired Boeing 727 aircraft fuselage and upcycled it into an unusual and innovative home. The huge 3-engine commercial airliner is propped up on concrete pillars in a suburban wooded area outside of Portland, Oregon, and has its own driveway.

The aircraft features a makeshift shower, but he is still working to install a working lavatory and to restore some of the plane’s original interior elements, like seating and lights. Campbell lives in this plane 6 months every year, and spends the other part of the year in Japan, where he is also looking to buy and similarly re-use a retired Boeing 747 fuselage. The 10 acres where he’s building his Oregon home cost $23,000 when he bought them in his 20s, and the plane set him back $220,000.

Who knew living in a plane would be so awesome.

IMAGES: In Between Those Rocks Lies A Hidden World. No One Has Ever Been Down There, Until Now

Reddit user remizik recently went on an adventure that made me foam at the mouth with jealousy. He decided to go inside Antelope Lower Canyon, which is located in Page, Arizona. He had been to Page from France once before, but he was unable to go inside. So now, returning in 2013, he was determined to do it. . What he discovered is beautiful, natural awesomeness. . Here is where you enter the ‘abyss’
Once you get lower down you begin to understand the beauty that lies below
The colours take your breath away
The detail is wonderful
The timing of these pictures was 9am which allowed the sun to exaggerate the beauty

“remizik” gave some advice to anyone who wants to check it out for themselves:

“This place is so peaceful.Note that it is the “LOWER” canyon. The upper is also very beautiful, but it was CROWDED with people. I enjoyed the lower a lot more. Advice for photographers: bring an tripod, chose your lens before going in, and stick with it. It’s very dusty in the canyon. Shoot raw if you can. If you can’t, go for the “cloudy” white balance, you’ll get nice colors!”
